Jorge is a mechanical engineer and specialises in Data Science and applied Artificial Intelligence. He was director of research and development at Accuro for 6 years and won the Proptech LATAM 2021 award for the best idea in development with the startup Propert-i, with whom he worked as a partner. He is also a member of the international board of BOMA and its performance programme BOMA 360.
Concerning the appointment, David Martínez, CEO of FMHOUSE remarks: “The position has just been created and responds to the need to integrate new ways of handling data on a day-to-day basis while benefitting from the most modern technologies on the market”. Jorge will work on two fronts: both on the development of the dynamic personal feedback engine based on the model created by the research area of the FM Observatory, and on the digitalization of processes in the areas of consulting and training, for which he will report hierarchically to the general managers of the company.
“The idea is to add a new layer of technology linked to strategic consulting without losing our unbiased approach and without competing with other existing commercial tools as we simultaneously make headway in process digitization and improve the products we offer our clients, who expect us to be at the cutting edge of innovation,” Martínez points out.
Jorge combines his novel approach to the market with solid professional adeptness. He states, “I didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to work for an international company like FMHOUSE and gain from the chance to develop applications and products for its client portfolio”. In this way, he will be able to apply his knowledge as an expert in machine learning and artificial intelligence to contribute to the portfolio of products and services offered at an international level. As a result of this new appointment, FMHOUSE also strengthens its presence in Latin America, where it already collaborates with the most important corporations in the region, particularly those in the Southern Cone.
