Informe Regional del FM en Banca

El observatorio FM ha publicado hasta la fecha más de 100 artículos y estudios que tienen como objetivo mejorar el conocimiento que se tiene del Facility Management. Todos los documentos se han subido a la biblioteca de FMHOUSE y son de libre acceso al público. Este ha sido el primer trabajo que se realiza junto a la comunidad internacional LatamFM, como parte del acuerdo de colaboración.

Este estudio muestra por primera vez el estado del FM en un sector concreto en Latinoamérica. Un total de 146 responsables de FM de los principales bancos en 17 países, han compartido la situación de las entidades en las que trabajan. Se abordan temas tan diversos como la tercerización, su posición en el organigrama o el uso de herramientas de gestión. Una de las preguntas que más va a ayudar a entender el contexto actual en la región, es la que se refiere a como se llama al departamento de servicios de soporte. Se podría esperar que fuera Facility Management, pero en realidad no es así, usando en su lugar muy diferentes terminologías. Este punto combinado con la posición en el organigrama, van a condicionar la percepción que se tiene de la actividad y las posibilidades de evolución.

Este análisis regional no será el último, ya que se han iniciado otros estudios que se irán publicando a lo largo de este año. Una vez completados se va a realizar un ejercicio global de comparación para entender mejor la situación del Facility Management en Latinoamérica.

How to participate?

Collaborating with the Observatorio FM is a personal and voluntary decision, and there is no contractual obligation or economic retribution for it.

Any interested person can apply to participate as a leader of a new project, or apply as a collaborator in an existing one.

A technical committee will evaluate the subject matter of the proposed projects and the applications of the participants, deciding which ones are carried out and by whom.

Each person decides how much they want to dedicate, depending on their availability or type of project. The aim is for it to be an altruistic activity and not an additional workload.

What does it consist of?

To promote and publish studies that help professionals in the sector and to help others understand our profession and discipline.

The results and deliverables are shared openly, always acknowledging the contributions of all authors and contributors.

The Observatorio FM’s activity will respect the objectivity, ethics, rigour and good practices that govern our Research area.

Contributors have access to the best collaborative tools, sectoral information and contacts, as well as the assistance of expert consultants and researchers at international level.
