At FMHOUSE, our social commitment is deeply embedded in our values and defines how we interact with the world around us. We firmly believe in our duty to play a proactive role in building a fairer and healthier society. In line with this principle, in 2024, we have once again contributed to positive impact by supporting two key organisations: the Gavi Foundation and the Confederation of Autism Spain, reflecting our strong determination to cooperate with meaningful causes aligned with our values.
Supporting Child Health with Gavi
One of the pillars of our commitment this year has been the collaboration with the Gavi Foundation through the international cooperation programme of the “la Caixa” Foundation. The Vaccine Alliance is an international initiative dedicated to increasing access to immunisation in the world’s poorest countries, with the aim of reducing child mortality and fostering health equity. Since 2011, the “la Caixa” Foundation has partnered with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to channel donations towards Gavi’s vaccination programmes. For every private contribution made, both foundations match the amount, multiplying the impact fourfold.
FMHOUSE’s contribution will help fund vaccination campaigns that protect children from preventable diseases such as measles, polio, and pneumonia. These initiatives are essential to ensuring the health and future of millions of children, breaking the cycle of poverty and disease in vulnerable communities.
Promoting Inclusion with Autism Spain
Our commitment to social responsibility also extends to fostering inclusion and supporting individuals with disabilities. In 2024, we contributed to the Confederation of Autism Spain, a national organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. Recognised as a Public Utility Organisation, Autism Spain works tirelessly to ensure the effective exercise of rights and promote equal opportunities for individuals with autism.
Our donation supports Autism Spain’s programmes aimed at providing specialised services and resources for individuals with ASD. These initiatives include access to education, employment opportunities, and comprehensive support systems designed to meet the specific needs of each individual. This collaboration reaffirms our commitment to inclusion, understanding, and respect for diversity, as well as our conviction that we must continue working to build a society where everyone can thrive.
